Sidewalk

Everyone who knows me
Only knows the time spent with me
My ups and downs in that period of time
My thoughts my dreams my life
                  My passion for love
                          My determination
          My imagination
          The break of my heart
                  The rain from my cloud
Never again I wanted to talk
I didn’t even want to walk the walk
                          But I did
That’s why I started to write
I carry the past in my pocket and the future under my shoe
          Stability comes in one form
          Being changed along the way
  Leaves others looking at you
                  Wondering what do you mean
As I walked to work from the train
  I was strolling along
                  My mind in a cloud
My feet hitting the beat of the pavement
  Walking on the side walk
I looked down from my cloud
Viewing the strangers on the sidewalk
  Full of these
                          Strangers I call them
I have no idea who they are
                          But they walk
  On the side
                          What is their purpose
  Walking on the sidewalk
                          Maybe to just
  Walk on the side
