Palestine
I dont care for fame or fortune
I strive to succeed and live to nurture
My own children who can think on their own
Who are free to create their own tone
I dont care for recognition or something
All I want to do is encourage everything
From different people all alike
To pick up a pen and use it to strike
The pages of the paper
Are for you to see
That your mind is flowing
With things to be
If I influence even one soul
Then I have accomplished my goal
There needs to be peace in the streets
There needs to be peace in the middle east
Fighting is not the way for you to be
Gaining your independence and becoming free
Violence equals violence and that is a crime
Writing frees the spirit of the mind
To have a state all on your own
And call it a place you can call home
Then if you do it peacefully
There can be a Palestinian state to see
